Fresh asphalt paving with crisp edges

Services — Asphalt Paving

Driveways that
lay perfectly flat.

Residential, commercial and municipal asphalt — new builds, resurfacing, repairs and sealcoating. Clean edges, proper grading, finishes built for our winters.

What we pave

One trade. Done properly.

01

Residential driveways

New installs, rip-and-replace and overlays. Proper base prep, crisp edges, even compaction.

02

Commercial parking lots

Plazas, warehouses, multi-unit. Phased work to keep your site operating throughout.

03

Municipal roads

Repaving, patching and crack repair for towns, counties and contractors at scale.

04

Resurfacing & overlay

Restore tired surfaces without full reconstruction when the base is sound.

05

Excavation & base prep

Grading, sub-base, drainage. The invisible work that decides how long a job lasts.

06

Crack & pothole repair

Hot-rubber crack fill and infrared patching that bonds properly instead of peeling out next spring.

07

Catch basin & curb work

Drainage repairs, concrete curb pours and reinstatements coordinated with the paving crew.

08

Line painting & markings

Stalls, fire routes, accessibility symbols and directional arrows finished after the lot cures.

Built to last

The base decides everything.

Most paving failures we get called to fix aren't paving failures — they're base failures. We grade properly, compact in lifts, and respect drainage so the surface above stays flat for decades.

Our crews use our own equipment, run by people we know. No subcontracted finishing, no surprises on day three. Every job is supervised by a Honeydew lead from excavation to final roll.

  • 150–200mm compacted Granular A base
  • Positive drainage on every grade
  • HL-3 / HL-3A hot mix laid to spec
  • Hand-finished edges and tie-ins
  • Dual-drum steel roller compaction
  • Workmanship warranty included

FAQ

The questions we get most often.

How long does a new driveway take?
Most residential driveways are a 1–2 day job: excavation and base on day one, paving on day two. Larger commercial lots are scheduled in phases so you stay operational.
When can I drive on fresh asphalt?
Foot traffic the next day. Vehicle traffic after 48–72 hours. Avoid sharp turns, parked trailers and kickstands for the first 2–3 weeks while the surface fully cures.
Do you work year-round?
Asphalt paving runs roughly mid-April through mid-November in Ontario — the plants need to be open and air temps above ~10°C. Repairs and planning happen year-round.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes. Workmanship is warrantied for one full freeze-thaw cycle on residential work, and per-contract on commercial and municipal jobs.
Are you insured?
Fully insured and WSIB-covered. Certificates available on request before work starts.
