Fresh green sod lawn installation with rolled sod on rich topsoil

Services — Sod

Lawns that take root
the first time.

Fresh sod installation, grading and lawn finishing across Kawartha Lakes and the GTA. Proper base prep, quality screened topsoil, and Kentucky bluegrass cut fresh from local farms.

What we lay

From bare dirt
to front-yard envy.

01

Fresh sod installation

Premium Kentucky bluegrass and fescue sod cut fresh and laid on properly prepared ground. Graded for drainage, rolled for even contact, and watered in so roots grab hold within days.

02

Lawn grading & drainage

Regrade uneven yards, fill low spots, and install swales or French drains so water moves away from your foundation and doesn't pool on the lawn.

03

Topsoil delivery & spreading

Quality triple-mix and screened topsoil delivered and spread to proper depth. The right soil chemistry means less fertilizer, less watering, and healthier grass long-term.

04

Hydroseeding

A cost-effective alternative to sod for larger areas or steep grades. Custom seed blend, mulch, fertilizer and tackifier sprayed evenly for fast germination and erosion control.

05

Lawn repair & patching

Fix pet damage, construction wear, or winter kill with matching sod patches or overseeding. Blend the repair into the existing lawn so the line disappears.

06

Seasonal lawn care

Spring fertilizing, aeration, dethatching, fall overseeding and winter prep. Keep your lawn healthy year-round without the guesswork.

How we work

Soil first. Sod second.

A beautiful lawn starts underground. We test soil composition, amend with the right organic matter, and grade for positive drainage before a single roll touches the ground.

Our sod comes direct from Ontario growers, cut the morning of install and kept moist in transit. Stale sod that sits on a pallet for days is the fastest way to a failed lawn — we don't let that happen.

Every install includes a written care guide and a 30-day establishment check. We'll tell you exactly when to water, when to mow, and when the first fertilizer goes down.

Our process

Four steps to green.

01

Walk the site

We measure, test soil, and mark grades so water flows where it should.

02

Prep the base

Remove debris, amend soil, and grade for drainage before sod arrives.

03

Lay fresh sod

Tight seams, staggered joints, and full coverage — no shortcuts.

04

Roll & water in

Heavy roller for soil contact, then a deep soak to wake the roots.
